Sharks are known to be an extremely valuable draw for tourists, attracting millions of dollars in dive-related tourism every year. SOS, therefore, supports responsible shark ecotourism that clearly promotes conservation and public awareness, and only when experienced operators carry out their activities responsibly and with due regard for the safety of both the sharks and the public.
