Support Our Sharks' primary purpose is founded in education and outreach, particularly with the younger generation of future marine advocates. We make regular visits to schools to highlight marine science as a potential career option and educate students and teachers about the importance of sharks and the need for improved conservation.  We also participate in scientific conferences to share our research findings with fellow shark researchers and use the opportunity to discuss conservation issues with those people in a position to make a difference.

We are having a huge impact through social media, with thousands of people sharing and engaging with our educational content everyday.  Through the effective use of social media and our continued outreach work with schools we hope to make a real difference for sharks at both a local and global level.  Take a look at the our Events pages for more information on what we are doing and how you can get involved.
